Well i would think the first thing is after you've treated a lady - preserve her. Definitely avoid that one Ed!

Ok, now on the serious side of things, holding my splitting sides.
Opening a door for her.
Pouring her a glass of wine rather than helping yourself first.
You know, the things that mean a lot,but seem so small to us men, lol.
Buying her flowers, due to the fact that ,,No, she has not done anything to deserve them, other than being herself and to just say i love you....
I am a Old Romantic at hart, and before anyone digs on the !OLD!,,,,, I still feel 18 at heart, lol.

That was my gut reaction, but I know a lot of girls would not appreciate these things as it is too old fashioned. Feminism has made the world very confusing

I think it depends on the age group Ed. I like to be treated like a lady, and appreciate all the things aidjon wrote. Whereas someone your age might not appreciate it Confused

I actually love a guy like Jonathon, but he'd have to allow me to treat him the same, I think its important for the woman to hold the door for him, pour the wine etc. when the occasion arises i.e. I happen to be neareast, and spontaeniously (sp!) give him little gifts (and yes flowers it has been known haha) as well.
In other words, treat each other, not just the lady, like they are both worthy of that extra mile.
