I think that there are actually some good uses for NLP when dating, like considering when someone moves away from you at first, then you should also move away from them - you're obviously crowding them - stepping into their personal space. Surely that would be important to notice for the first few dates?

I'll be interested to know whether any other men have read "love Manners for Men" - the 2 guys I knew who had read it were able to charm just about any women and I always thought it was as a result of what they'd learned from that book.

Both of them had been given the book quite early in life and had been very "successful" with women although neither of them had settled down with one woman, having decided, I suppose, that if they could have any woman, they'd rather stick to playing the field than having just one?

After a string of unsuccessful dates where she walked out halfway through the evening, I have decided that some rope will come in handy on my next date. Tie her to the chair and declare it a success because she didn't walk out on me.
