Dave, I had some more thoughts on your situation.

For some reason I get the impression that you emailed her. if so, do you have her phone number? If you do and you did indeed email (or text her), can I ask why you emailed/whatever instead of phoning ?

Although I still stand by what I said earlier, if you did email her (I assuming a lot here) emails have a tendency to go astray into some big black hole sometimes, it is possible that she didn’t get it, and she’s sitting there wondering why the hell you haven’t contacted her. Just a thought. If you do have her phone number, call her. You’ll be able to tell within a few seconds whether your call is welcome or not.

Texts occasionally exhibit those same symptoms too. I wonder if they make up the dark matter that science can't find.

My only contact is via a website we both use, I have no email address or phone number for her. It is possible that the message could have gone astray or not been read for some reason, but I'm being cautious non-the-less. I'm playing it cool and seeing what happens. It's not the end of the world if I take a long time to reply and she was waiting, or if I lose her. I'm just playing things differently to how I normally do things.
