Are you having a second meet Dave?

I went on a date yesterday and my advice to people is get a few pictures....

But I agree with just cracking on. It was a no go for me but it has only taken up a week of my life. If he wants to be friends cool if not then no biggy for either of us!

I've not heard from her since Sunday after we met. I made last contact, so I'm leaving it for a couple of weeks before contacting her again to see if she wants to meet again.

In the meantime I have been checking out other options, and getting on with the reconstruction of my life Very Happy

Right well everyone will have a go at me for my brutal honesty I reckon but here goes...I reckon she is not interested. I decided to contact my date today to tell him it was a no go. If I was interested I would of contacted him today to say yes let's meet up again. I don't know many women who would wait over a week to make contact if they were interested.

Sorry Dave but you know me I am honest if nothing else. So on to the next one matey I reckon!

I would say that if she was really keen to see you again, you'd have heard from her by now. In my experience (and I've been around a bit Smile ), if someone is really, really keen, the phone call telling you she wants to see you again often comes whilst you're still on your way home from the date.

Depends these days on what books, magazines and websites they've been reading about things like making people wait x number of days to not seem to keen and thereby needy or desperate, or always letting the guys do the chasing. I've read some women say on forums that they will never call a guy, sheesh.

There is a lot of advice out there that pushes people towards what amounts to childish game playing in my mind. But if she's listening to some of it she could still be interested.

So I'll go against the rather logical consensus and say bite the bullet and give it another go now rather than wait any longer, she couldn't feel pressured after a week so not much to lose.

I totally agree with you. I don't think she is interested. I will do what I said, regardless, though. I let one fine lady get away before due to a lack of communication, despite both of us fancying each other rotten, so I'm not going to assume anything and let it happen again.

As for moving on, I didn't stop moving in the first place. I'm only stopping when something makes me do so.

Thanks for the honesty, anyway, though.
