All depends how long I had been chatting to a guy..same town/county would be ideal, but Im sure I would travel further (and have done) If I felt the guy was worth it..

Same as Susie, but I probably would have travelled to Scotland [over 300 miles] for a women on another site to check her out. Still might do yet lol Surprised

why put a limit on happiness i say? if you have no ties and one of you could realistically relocate eventually, why hinder happiness? i know i had my fingers burnt by a long distance relationship abroad once but i can never say never. For now though, i have found a special lady and am happy with her

I chose same country, but thats more what I'm able to do that what I'm willing to do.

I chose 'half the country' because of realistic logistics - I dont have the kind of money to go 'abroad' or very very far even in this country *just for a date* - now if we're talking *more than* just a date - well, part of me says I would upsticks and move across the planet for the man I love.....bbuuuttt I moved from cornwall to hants to be nearer my elderly parents and my youngest lad still lives in cornwall, and I'd not be prepared to put any man before their needs. Sorry. Love would have to wait, move near me or cut my losses at the mo. (And I moved to here to be nearer my man as it was conveniently within easy reach of both my parents homes and my sons...).

Not too far at all. I've moved far too many times in my life and have no intentions of upping sticks for a relationship again.

Me and my fellah have touched on the subject of living together recently and at the moment I'm not even prepared to move to a slightly bigger place in the same area.

But for those that are able to, anywhere in Britain seems reasonable.

Well seeing as there aren't any men from the island on FB (well single men or ones under 45) i have no choice, and so far i've been to Gloucester and Preston, and nearly went to Carlisle to meet another guy from another site but changed my mind.
Either way i have to either get a boat or a plane off this rock to go on a date!!!

Actually now i've written that down, what the hell am i doing on here???? Its a hell of a thing to do to go on a bloody date isn't it!??? Think i'll get another cat.

Make them come to you Bex - Actually, I am surprised the guys aren't queueing up just for the excuse to go to the isle of man!!

I have lived abroad before and can travel easily in my line of work, would need to sort out a few things first but its not impossible. All depends on the relationship and how we got on when meeting up before hand. It all depends is the short answer.

I put half the country but i'd probably venture further if I found someone on here I really liked.

All depends how long I had been chatting to her. Obviously the closer the better, but I would travel further. If I felt the girl was worth it.

Travelling somewhere new is part of the excitement anyway - hopefully somewhere nice.....

...like not Birmingham

My shift pattern means I get a full weekend every other week, and if I'm traveling over 20 miles then I'd set aside about a day to actually see wherever the hell I am rather than just going say 100 miles to have lunch with someone. But so long as I stay about for a while then anywhere in the country and maybe a little outside the uk.

I have a date in Oxford 2 days after Xmas, but not really made the trip especially for it as I am at my Sons for Xmas, but my date is coming from Manchester to meet me. Very Happy

Like other people if you think it's worth it then you got to take a chance & go for it. Wink
