Well, from the number of fashionista bisexuals hovering around the site, I guess you’d need to be a girl for a start

Um, apart from that, from reading a plethora of self-indulgent profiles from middle-aged straight women, one assumes that a man would impress these women purely by being 10 years younger than them, and showing even the slightest interest in them. Ignoring any bunny-boiler tendencies and pretending that such qualities are endearing quirks is also bound to impress her. She might even cook you Xmas dinner! (Turkey replaced with juicy bunny rabbit).

As for the rest, they don't need impressing - they are only here for the fourms, after all

Somewhat more seriously, I think it is a bad idea to 'try and impress' someone. Impressing can often turn around and bite one on the arse, by making one sound conceited, vain, boring, self-indulgent or thoughtless.

I've never been one for impressing women, especially not on the net. Probably the opposite on the net

Seems to me women want to be impressed, and fall for all the old bullshit and nice pics. You have to then spend all your time impressing them.

All genuine women are looking for is a genuine guy ......... yeah i know shock horror ......... any woman who likes the bullshit and nice pics is normally only after one thing and it's not a relationship, and its the not the bullshit women like, its the confidence and honesty, if that happens to be coated with a slight sense of humour as well, happy days ............


Alot of men, come across as being confident, but in reality have no self confidence at all, which is a big turn off for alot of women.

So what your saying is woman like confidence and honesty but most of the men who use dating sites who seem to have these things are actually lying and have no confidence. Well your pretty much stuffed then aren't you.

From my point of view, if you don't try to impress (not necessarily someone, but even yourself) then you're not growing...

Now I'm not saying the whole shabang isn't for better or for worse, but each human being has two sides... Obviously good and bad.

Anyhow, it's hard to try nd put in words the whole thing...

And trying to impress someone doesn't necessarily mean you're trying to be someone you're not. You could as well be trying to be someone you didn't become yet, or simply go over your head for your joy (and that persons too).

As for being impressed... I think everyone has personal things which impress them and we all have common things which we find impressive too.

One of the things which impress me, par example, is unconditioned kindness, as it's a quite rare thing (at least around me).
