You are a swan and everyone around you are all grey geese. Spread your wings and fly to a better pond!

What is it you do?

Is promotion an option?

What about hobbies?

Ouch, couldn't you change? If you're sure that's making you unhappy

You could start going the gym. That would burn off your energy or take up a sport.

Inertia is a self-inflicted choice.
If you are bored/unhappy with your lot in life, either do summat about it or accept it gracefully and just get on with it.
Personally, I recommend trying to do summat about it first.
If you dont pick one of those options you will eventually bore even yourself chewing the fat about it.
I dont know how old you are, but believe me its the easiest thing in the world to moan about one's lot, have lots of sympathetic words come your way and in a blink of an eye 10 years have gone by and you are still in the same boring rut and done bugger all about it except yap.
Decide what you want to do, and go for it! Very Happy

Is there anything you would love to do but have not done yet.
Just do it, enjoy yourself, be selfish.
Hobbies/pastimes, travel, do it.

As I was writing my previous post, I realised I was prolly talking to myself as much as anybody!
The worse thing about 'boredom' is that it's so easy to get comfy with it.
Gosh, I have a heap of things I want to do, but have i done them? Have i heck, i sit here waiting for that mental kick up the arse to take effect....one day maybe! Laughing
Example: I've been talking about taking a horse-drawn canal boat ride for ooooohhhh about 18 yrs....have I done it???? Nope!!! The only thing thats stopped me doing it is.....umm, me. Cant be bothered to make the effort, even though I tell myself I REALLY REALLY want to do it. I ask myself, just how badly do I want to do it, if I havent bothered so far? Yes! yes! I do! I do!
Its just so much easier to simply just *talk* about it, *think* about it.....actually *doing* it would involve getting out of my comfy little frogpond!
Eeeek! Now there's a scary thought.... Surprised
