Honesty in relationships is a bit of a misnomer too. How many times have you told a little white lie or withheld the truth to avoid upsetting your partner or blowing something minor out of all proportion? A few I'll bet.
Of course, its not a black and white issue, but to everyone proclaiming their honesty; step back and (no pun intended) be honest about it - you're honest when it suits you.

you dont know everybody, thus dont know if everybody is 100% honest.

I'm sure that sounded more profound in your head.
Anyway, I know enough about the human condition to know that nobody is 100% honest. Whether a person is dishonest with good or bad intentions is down to the individual.
