Well ive met 1 bloke from faceparty who i went out with for 6 months (i knew him through a mutual friend so i knew i was safe) and 1 from another dating site who i had a couple of dates with and still remain good mates with. I met him in the local pub where i knew my mates were gonna be so if i needed them I knew they were there. Cant say I have had any bad experiences but I normally do have to talk to someone a while before i would even contemplate meeting them

From what I've heard about people meeting on these kind of blind dates, it's all about not having any preconceptions, and not making assumptions... You can have quite a raunchy flirty chat with someone online or on the phone - when you meet face to face it's a little different - often the attraction and the capacity to flirt will still be there, but you almost have to start from scratch to explore each other in a new dimension... mind you, isn't that part of the fun?

On the odd occasion I have met someone, I have made no assumptions, been respectful of the other person, and thinks have worked out just fine... If something happens it happens, if nothing, then you've not ruined the connection you had by acting like a beast LOL I have heard some horror stories from women I have spoken to!!! LOL

Oh the other thing is never to misrepresent yourself... be open and honest...

You've got nothing to lose by meeting someone from the web Very Happy I mean, life is too short..you could meet someone amazing. You could meet someone totally wrong for you, but you haven't lost anything Very Happy As long as you're careful and sensible about it...as in not meeting them down some dark alley at 12am Wink and you let someone know whats happening then you can do no wrong really.

I think flirtbox is brill, I've spoken to some nice people..and met someone eveeeeeeeen more great Very Happy
