What is that supposed to mean??

At least I meet people in the flesh & not pretend to want to.....whats the point chatting for weeks/months or even a year then meet up & find out that you dont click....what a waste of time that is, if you dont meet people how are you ever going to know if is going to work out or not?

I was only fucking with you LV.

Good on you for going beyond the monitor. You're a rare breed. There are far too many terminal shut-ins in this game than is healthy.

I too, am one of those 'rare breeds' ..... having met a few people, most of which were exactly how I thought they would be ...... However, I know there are people out there who are not willing and probably never will meet anyone. On the other hand I know several people, male and female, who have met people and even had/have 'relationships' The same people including myself have also come across the odd 'clit/prick teaser'.

I truly believe that if you get chatting to someone and haven't met to see if you 'click' within a few weeks..... then it is very unlikely you ever will. Always trust your instincts, if it don't feel right from the start then move on.

haha reading all your stories make me giggle abit!

I've met a couple of people before..

.. one of them things were going okay but he was so nervous, after he ate we were walking back to my car, and he puked infront of me over a wall... maybe i should of felt sorry for him but i thought it was vile.. so it was a typical " so maybe catch ya later" type goodbye! Never have i spoke to him again, changed my number! And another turned out okay, seen each other a couple of times, nice bloke. Had fun but nothing serious! It's annoying how things are different online than reality sometimes ! x

Yep, was on another ISP which hosted chatrooms on and off for 6 years until recently, I met a few cyberdates, some were horrific and some turned out to become the best of friends, one I got engaged too (shakes head and mutters "lucky escape") but thats a long story

All in all keep your faculties clear and make sure your safe when you first go out on a cyberdate and go enjoy the moment.

Looking on the bright side you never know what jewel you might turn up

I'm naturally attracted to people who are 'different' hence I have a few lucky escapes and crazy tales to tell, but most cyber dates have been good and have led to some valid friendships. I'm still just wanting to meet people that I like, who live near to me, and that is not so easy.

personally it's not a case of acting, its that not talking to somebody face to face feels less confrontational, so i'm more like i am around my friends.
