Actually I got a message today asking if I'd seen the message that he'd left me the other day in my guestbook...... and I had, but it was just by chance because seeing this thread made me have a peep the other day anyway.

isn't that what sending someone a message is for not that i do either, but like you say at least you know when you get a message ........

May be it's for those who like to leave their message public rather than private.... can't think why though

hehehehe, it was because of reading this thread that i went looking for the guestbook, and on your profile it was flashing happy birthday, but then i figured the others would ness' look at your profile so i did it as a thread,

for me the gb is just a public way of showing that you like the person, so when someone else comes along, they can see that the person is x x and x, and its like a verification maybe, but at this time of night, i dont expect me to make any sense

ps i dont have an option to look at mine, i looked as suggested, but nevermind,

I am going to be very sorry and tired in the morning,
