Ok, about this whole non response/reply thing... It's evident to me that it is a male's prerogative to send a messeage and woman's to choose whether or not to reply, I've no problem with that. I myself feel reletively confident and feel that i have an intersting enough profile, with pictures to back it up. The question i want to ask is have i actually given TOO much away and have TOO many pics up. Should i perhaps be more mysterious maybe? I very rarely get any replies, nor do i get messaged randomly that much. The point i am trying to make is that for a male it can get quite disconcerting when, as confident as you may feel, you end up wanting to bang your head against a brick wall! Maybe i should change my name to 'Hard4U' or 'PRNSTR' maybe that will work! LOL!

i send messages out, and i know alot of the women on here do too.. but there is more men then women, so we do have a choice...
but the choice tends to be.. threesomes, guys wanting sex, and spam, and if we are lucky we get the odd nice guy thrown in their too

Sorry I haven't been really active recentlty on the forums...

Just in general for you and everyone else out there: How to get more replies!:
1. upload a couple of interesting pictures of yourself...not just one and not one with a bad quality or a really boring one.

2. be active on the forums - the more messages you write, the more people click on your profile as the more often they will see your picture/username.

Women do not just write men because they like the picture on a profile - they are a lot more picky then men - unless a guy loosk really amazing....but this is hardly ever the case.

If you, however write a lot of funny or witty things on the forums, they are much more likely to contact you either indirectly by replying to your postings or directly by sending you a message about something you have written.
So using the forum is always the best idea to get more replies or in general to meet some new people.

3. Contact other people yourself...especially the ones that are online or have been online recently...and write something interesting....and according to what they write on their profiles....not just things like "hi there" or "you look gorgeous, fancy a chat".

4. Complete your profile, i.e. use more then 200 characters on your profile "details" and complete the enhanced profile desription...this way you will also appear first on the catalogue pages (e.g. when you click on an area on a user profile)

5. Use the "Advertise on this site" link on the Flirtbox main websites (flirtbox.co.uk, etc..) and drive visitors to your profile page using Google Adwords. E.g. you could spend a couple of hundred pounds and get thousands of targetted visitors on your page, for example from your town and advertise on hundreds of websites all over the internet or directly on Google. The minimum amount you need to spend is 5 pence or something.....

6. Link to your profile page from other websites

7. Place an ad in a newspaper and mention the address of your Flirtbox profile page

Hope that helps!

...The problem is that there doesn't seem to be a 'nice guy' option on FB!

Another tip.... if you see someone you like on here, MAIL THEM! Preferably connected about something they've written. Or be really bold and tell them you liked the sound/look of them. It may not lead anywhere, but at least then you can say you pulled out all the stops to get their attention Very Happy

..again, a woman's choice... The pick of the bunch they seem to have! Don't loose too much heart though... Like RED said, be honest and maybe soon one will come along.

Ive used a few dating websites, and eventually after a while on each I did manage to get emails-even on here and I have had a few. The way I did it was to write confident decent non-generic emails, smiley pictures, postive profiles and being honest. Always looking at the profile-reading it out and getting others to read it and get their opinions-another set of eyes can see something you dont see!!! Anyone not online for over a week were simply not emailed-they are not regular visitors which says to me they dont want to meet, have met someone or dont use it anymore. If a girl is online everyday thats a good sign-well kind of!! But like you guys your not gonna get a response from everyone-the competition from other guys is intense or they are not interested in you. it may be a bit of a downer not getting emails but your not gonna win everytime.
P.s a bit of humour always is a good thing to put in an email-a cheeky wee joke! I found if you get a good joke it gives a positive vibe about yourself.
Chin up guys and rethink your approach! Stand out and shine!!!!
