I promise I will fall on my sword before any of those comments. I would be far more worried about them coming back at me. lol

I actually think I have survived and not come off looking like a fugitive axe-murderer. Chocolates went down well, no flower issues to deal with. Huge doubts about my clothes, I am sure women think they worry more about such things, but its not always the case. Wasn't game to wear jeans to a first meet.

A coffee, a glass of wine, walks through a nice town and a parting kiss. And agreement to meet again. Confirmed in the message that I feared would say the opposite. I'd rate that as fairly good for a first meet. (And I know so much about these situations, pretty much nil really).

So a few hours lost sleep worrying. Nope no nerves me.

Thanks for your help

Ray

Ray, did you get a 'WOW' during your first date? (as in your other thread!). It sounds like you had a lovely time.

Hi Spare (Is there a story behind that user name).

Suspect nerves were a bit too high for Wow. More like phew and "okay watch what you say here". "Careful conversation has been pretty mundane for a while, your boredom reading is getting high"

At least when you send a message you have time to rethink your answers. A meet is like real-time. I am so much better when I can hit the reload from auto save option. Lol.

Cheers

Ray

LOL, I agree. Spell check, Preview, Undo and Retype .... yep everything looks fine: SUBMIT! ... aren't quite real life options are they! Glad it went well though and you're possibly going for 'Round 2' Smile

My user name is the name I used to freelance under. It originally came from a Graphics project at Uni (many moons ago!) We were all given an 'Alphabet' to create. I got Buttons! S is for spare button... Z is for Zip, so no need for Buttons! etc... Rolling Eyes

Hmm.... Art Students hey! Laughing
