It is hard for us to find good fashion clothes all what is on not my style as I am into dancing and clubbing I avoid any fashion names I am not mobile free advertiser for fashion house or a victim to their brand.

they have to pay me like they do to boxers, footballers, even then I am not willing to wear them I teamed up with local fashion student and she do many of my own design and she is very good and reasonable I like to encourage local business and students.

I wish that we all had a personal fashion designer to go to. Do you get to sugeest designs or does she say that she has something you will like.

Personally would like a few things with dragons but find it hard to see what I want.

I do give her some magazine clips or DVD dancing crew clothes, she looks at it and take it from there you can go locally to any collage and find out if any students like to help you.

designer labels..what a farce..i believe people who are only into these labels are just trying to make up for something within themselves..ie..need clothes to make themselves feel better..or the peer pressure syndrome..
I just shop within my means..so if i had lots of cash spare, yeah ,might buy designer, but ONLY if i liked it..

So why can't I walk down Oxford street without being crushed? There seem to be a lot of people there shopping? If I agree with the views here am I about to segregate myself from a large chunk of single people?

No objections to having principles and a cause. But would be nice not to be single for the rest of my life? Can I not take a chameleon as a role model?

Okay so I agree about the shirts and ties. My bottom line if no stripes and I don't do boring ties. If I have to wear a tie it must represent my individualism. So snoopy, dragons, tigers, cartoon characters.

Please note I am not defending designer, just wanted to know if I needed designer camoflague to get past date number 1.

I found that when i stopped tucking my shirt into my underpants, that i became a lot more popular Smile

On a serious note though. people take fashion and looking good quite seriously. I used to be a ladies shoesaleman, and while its nice sometimes to see a person get a huge confidence boost that they mightn't otherwise feel from something as simple as shoes and a new bag. It shocked me the amount of people who would deliberately suffer so they would look good. Wearing shoes a half size too small, shoes that are too narrow at the broad of the foot, heels 40 cm's high, boots that would cut into the thigh. I would come across hammer toes, bone calcium density and chronic bunions from women who constantly wear uncomfortable fashionable shoes. I Mean SERIOUS foot problems here, and they keep wearing them.

Their toes are falling off and they are demanding that i sell them shoes a half size smaller because of it. Whilst i understand the arguements about the idea of brand, people still want to look good. So whilst the brand thing may be headed out the window (and thank god for that) people still take dress seriously

There is also so much more pressure on women to look good its not funny. I mean i get away with not shaving and wearing my old army shirt cause its percieved as scruffy, and that falls within the accepted narrative for a man. We are allowed be scruffy now and again. Women aren't.

Look even at fashion magazines, there is always a big photoshoot and nasty comments on the dresses women wear to occasions like the oscars by the magazines. Men just put on a rented tux and as long as we don't puke on them, we get away with it.

Men aren't exposed to the same level or marketing or taboo crap women are, so despite having less choice in terms of clothes. we are allowed pick what we want to wear much more freely
