Interested to know what others think about beards and mouse steaks? Apologies if it's already been done, can't find a thread though.

Someone asked me recently why is it that all my men seem to have facial hair....and to be honest it had never entered my conciousness before.
T'is true that as far as 'eye candy' goes, 9 times out of 10 I dont give a second glance to a clean shaven fella, no matter how handsome.
I have no idea why I am drawn mostly to men with beards and all.
(I hate to see 'designer stubble though).
I can't believe I am the only person with such a definite division about what she likes to see.
I am also interested to know what men think about - facial hair *on men/themselves* (I can guess what most men's opinion will be about women sporting beards, so we wont bother going into that..... Razz ).
Someone on another thread got dumped for growing a beard - I was mad as a box of frogs when my hubby shaved his off....come on people, what's your story?

My daddy looks terrible when he shaves off his beard..... Confused I dont like it AT ALL....he doesn't look like my daddy when i can see his chin!

As for personal tastes i've never dated anyone with a full face of hair.....goatie's yes....and i liked it although to much kissing can lead to a red face!!

I'm not fussed.

I've dated guys with facial hair, without facial hair, with designer stubble...

Some men really suit facial hair, others don't.

I grew a full beard once, and everyone kept saying I looked like Grizzly Adams Surprised

I never used to be that taken by guys with beards (or too much body hair, for that matter) but recently I've changed my mind. Beards are hot! Moustaches on their own, not so much.

A slightly longer beard, as opposed to "designer stubble", is better because it doesn't scratch as much when you're kissing and doing other stuff Wink

I'd have to agree with PasleptSiekare's sentiments though - some guys suit facial hair, some don't.

I dont like beards or moustaches on fellas, a goatie is nice though especially on a bald guy. But I have to say I much prefer clean shaven and smooth. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm Cool

Personally, I think it's the other way round - some men suit clean shaven, others don't!!

I'm just trying to cast my mind back through all the years of relationships and i don't think anyone i have ever been with had facial hair. Not on purpose, just the way it turned out.
I have nothing against men with mustaches or beards, my dad has a tache, and look at Tom Selleck (Hmmmmm) but i do like clean shaven. And i don't like bald men who have beards and stuff, i want to shave it off and stick it on their heads! hee hee!!!!

I've grown quite attached to mine, or it's grown attached to me, feels a bit odd without it to be honest. I think some people suit them better than others, so each to their own.

As for mouse steaks, never tried them to be honest, more of a sirloin or rump steak man myself.

I don't like beards on men. Nor moustaches. Maybe goatees, but just a bit. I have found in my experience that few men look appealing to me whilst wearing a beard. I was once in love with someone wearing a beard, but I really didn't care much bout his physical appearance, as his character and mind said it all.

However I do like the 2-3 day beard. On few people though.

By whole... I don't like beards. I don't like people with beards (not that way I mean). There are few people who actually look good with beards. Besides, beards give you rashes.
I like hair on men, just not much on their face. Though it would make them manlier. Maybe that's why you enjoy it, RG. However, men can be very manly without a beard too. They've got a whole bunch of other stuff to make them manly.
