But after receiving a block of messages from various people who are looking for no strings fun! web cam stuff and people who want one night stands i have come to the conclusion that most of these just do not appear to be reading my profile! Surely! had i have wanted all these things, then i would have said so on my profile? I have come to the conclusion that they obviously do not bother to read profiles and only look at the picture!! Grrrrrrrr I am no prude, but it does annoy me and i am just getting fed up with complete time wasters! Am i on my own here with this one???

i think alot of people dont bother reading profiles, which is a shame, as it can lead to some form of harrasment, it happened to me twice before on here, first it was this psychotic women, second time was this gay guy who would constantly send me messages to meet up with him, had to block them both in the end.

I personally do read profiles, to find out if i at least home something in common with them.

Well it is certainly a comfort to know that i am not just being over sensative then! My block list does appear to be growing daily!!!!

see, i have no pic, but i made sure my profile was sufficient enough to have someone interested, i have been lucky here and have made lots of friends, i know on my yahoo profile i got so many f*******g crazies, i finally put on there if your married and out for sex, dont bother me, so now when they msg me the first thing i say is "what on my profile did you like" if they dont answer i ignore, i have had all of them sign off immediately, haha

anyway ive had 57 offers of sex one night stands 7 of women in the last few days. why? i find it insulting if i want a 1 ngt stand i go on a night out sorry to sound arragont i have no probs attractin men on outside world but thats is not what im lloking for.

I want something of more meaning abit of romance. so when a gorl or guy states they want romance or a date it would help if peop bothered to read the profiles,

I get a lot of emails and I'd say the majority are looking for the complete opposite to what I say on my profile. Its a sad fact that most people don't bother to read profiles.

I've had all kinds of offers, even a couple asking me to become their threesome buddy! Nowhere in my profile does it even hint that I'm looking for that.

I also say that if you don't have a picture I won't reply as I have pictures so I'd like the same. Its my preference but still they email me.

I have to say it doesn't bother me anymore I just ignore them.

As irritating as it is, I can assure you as a man, seeing as we genarally have to do all the damn chasing, you should be pleased you can just sit back & sift through your mountains of emails
Personally I like the chase, but occasionally it's nice to be the 1 who does the "yeah, no, maybes"

Maybe there should be sites more like the cities of Nottingham or Liverpool. In the sense that the females outnumber the males, then we can just kick back and sift through our damn male hehehe.

But seriously, them 'fuck me' 1 liners, so lame ESPECIALLY when your profile says what it is your seeking. I can't honestly believe they expect a reply. Maybe they work on the principle that if you send out 100 maybe 1 will say "sure let's do it", i dunno.

I do look at profiles, and at the same time what they are into and stuff, tho i havent had emails as of yet but oh well, time will tell hopefully *fingers crossed* lol

Interesting! I always red the profiles althou theres usually not to much in them! perhaps flirtbox should add extra bits for us to fill in? gotta say that some profiles appear to contradict!!!!

I didn't realise so few people read the profiles until a few weeks ago i decided to put over age of 30 only please on my profile to reduce my mail. I get quite a lot of mail from younger men and its not my thing. Thought this would resolve situation but sorry to report it has not cos they don't read. Shame cos its wasting their time and mine.
