I think we have to be a bit realistic and honest about this subject. I think most men prefer women to be toned. I believe that most men do indeed prefer curvy women, but they prefer those curves to be toned curves, not flabby ones.

Secondly, we have to accept that relationships usually involve sexual activity. This is at least partly a physical activity. Therefore, physical appearance - and maybe more importantly how someone feels and hence their level of body tone - is going to be a factor.

Saying that someone is shallow and should be pitied because they take physical aspects into account in a sexual partner is itself a shallow view, in my opinion. After all, in sexual interaction the modern view is pretty much that anything goes as long it's between two consenting adults. Sexual preferences are personal and should be respected. So if a man likes slim women, or even if most men prefer slim women, that's their business and it should be respected.

So if any woman feels she's too large, I say just exercise and tone up - don't try to lose weight or make yourself smaller. Exercise can only make you feel better anyway.

I don't only go for slim women, its only really big/ overweight women that I don't like (don't mean to offend anyone with that comment, if I have then I apologise).

Personally if I see a woman who's hugely overweight then it's a turn-off ... But I have no problem with someone who's 'curvy'. There's a definite turning point, where if a woman is too big she loses her feminine allure so to speak.

On the other hand, women who are too thin are also not very appealing ... This might sound a bit primitive, but I like to see hips and a nice bum. Curves! I found out a long time ago that the conventional 'good looks' of the women you see in magazines don't count for much. What's the point of beauty when there's no personality attached to it? In the end I go for someone I can talk to ... otherwise I might as well date a cardboard cut-out.

I suspect many women feel the same way.

skinny aint nice at all, slim, average, chubby is fine, fat cellulite city aint pretty either but its horses for courses.
its all down to personal pref, ie some women like well hung some dont.

I think we would be hard pushed to find a person with perfect attributes and even if we did they might not like us. So we make compromises.

for some men the fatter the better for others the skinnier the better the rest of us like something in between

i've always liked larger women, i find curves veeeeeeery sexy. larger women tend to be more loving in a relationship and are usually a lot more kinky in bed. so if other guys don't like you for your curves ladies then it just means there's more of you for me

if you girls think it's hard being a so called "curvy" woman in the UK, try coming here to Lithuania where 98% of girls are no larger than size 8 Very Happy and among blokes it's "the norm". Anything above that is considered "curvy", "fuller figure", etc. So it really depends on the society and individual opinions on what people consider to be "curvy" - for some it's size 12, for others it's size 18.
I am size 16. I was never skinny but when I was in professional sport I was toned - and a lot happier. I put on weight when I had to stop training because of an accident. I've almost fully recovered (except for some back and leg problems but i'll have to live with those) but I am finding it a challenge trying to get back to my original shape...
I don't think that stick thin girls are the "real beauties" - someone with the shape of J.Lo or Monica Belucci is a lot sexier. But c'mon girls, let's be realistic - the term "curvy" is usually used to describe women like the ones I mentioned above rather than someone who's just overweight...
A lot of bigger people claim to be completely happy about how they look and what other people think. But then again - if you really don't give a sh!t why would you get involved in this kind of discussion about weight and repeat over and over again that you are happy, bigger is better, skinny is ugly, etc. etc.? And given the choice - just be honest (if not to us then to yourself) - wouldn't you rather be for e.g. size 10/12 rather that 18/20? I am aware that in England most highstreet shops sell clothes that vary between sizes 6 to 20 or so but what would you do if you, like me, lived in a place where 99.9% of shops sell clothes which are size 12 or 14 at the most? And even though you do find your size - wouldn't you rather wear what you WANT rather than what you can get into or what suites your bodyshape?
Weight problems often lead to psychological problems especially when it comes to self confidence. There are many people (big or small) who only appear to be really confident when they're actually not - they use it as a protective shield. So I don't believe someone when they say they're confident until I see for myself that they really are. And generallyI've found that people who feel confident about themselves repeat it to others over and over again - they don't have to coz they know it anyway and don't need to prove it to anyone.
I am sorry if I've offended anyone with my opinion but so far that's the reality that I've encountered - most bigger people I've met at first claim they're happy and they don't give a shit but when you get to know them better they usually admit that they are not completely happy with how they look or feel.

Well I love women brains and g.s.o.h no matter what size they are whether they were 8/10/12/14/16. I dated all of them it is the love, sensuality, and passion they give that is what it count not their looks and figures that is what I found out.

Now a days I tend to find the funky dancing lady that is what attract me to her considering am dancing solid 4 hours five nights weekly.
