Because apparently they love girls that are skinny like keira knightly or somebody like that.

Do men actually find a body like Keira Knightly's attractive? She has a pretty face but she has a body like a man!

Wow...I thought men who didn't like curves on a woman were in a minority, to be honest. And size 14 ain't even big. I'm about a size 12 and most people don't consider me fat (unless they're just hiding their true opinions)!

It's because society(and i use that word loosely)seems to think anorexic women are acceptable, and the more magazines etc. portray this image as the norm then the worse the situation will become;especially amongst younger children. On a personnal note i couldn't care either way what dress size a woman is,as long as she can make me smile

You Bring up a very good point inthemixer.
I would not say the majority i would simply say that there is prob somewhere along the lines of a 50/50 split.
I find men 30+ seem to be more varied when it comes to womens sizes.
I personally blame these magazines teen girls mags. for they are constantly prtraying pictures of very thin women and have no larger saized ones. i personally am not hung up on this whole large small thing a woman can be sexy no matter what her size, but the key is to how they carry themselfs. if you feel good about yourself then you have confidence that shines through to your personality. I think i can saftley say, by taking into account all my male friends comments on this. that what a man finds sexy about a woman is not the body in generall but the confidence/sex appeal for when a woman big or small feels confiedent and good about themselfs they tend to ozze sex appeal.

Right up untill the early 90's every mans dream was the curvasious woman ie maralyn monroe, sophie dahl ect ect. now it is more varied.

in my opinion and please dont take offence to this as it is not ment to be offencive but the one thng that is a huge turn off for men is women who canstantly go on about the small large issue. i havbe just noticed its been mentioned in nearly every topic on here lmao

All my girlfriends have been at least a size 12, curves are attractive.

However - you must, just like everyone else, stay in shape, keep toned.

Guys can tell when you look after yourself Very Happy

Personally i don't agree with that above statment. There's no 'must', just be positive about yourself & do what you feel is right for you.
If you feel you want to lose a few pounds, don't winge about it for a year, just go & do something about it.
However if you are cool with your curves, then be happy, and come on over to ME lol.
Don't get me wrong, curves is not another word for clinically obese ok lol, let's get that straight from the word go. (and i of course have nothing against the rotund ladies & the feeders that help maintain their physiques... each to their own)
But a woman to me is sexier with a lil jiggle iin her walk. If i wanted straight up & down I'd date a man! But of course each to their own, more real for me.

I agree in that there is no "must", but letting yourself go should never be justification to complain about people not finding you attractive.

You don't need to become a gym fanatic, just look after yourself. Toning does help, even keeping a jiggle in your walk.

Otherwise, you'll just have to wait for people who will accept you for who you are, and there are plenty of people out there that will - but just as many who want someone who looks after themself as well!

I hear u Swiss.
Especially when many ppl have a dream physique they feel is outta their league, then do nothing about their own lol. I've met many girls that love a rock hard six pack but themselves couldn't do a sit up if you paid them lol.

Sometimes you just can't explain why a certain girl does it for you. You know them shivers you get when you see a certain girl lol. That's some deep, organic, enzyme thing man, you can't control that. So f a label, go with the enzymes man!

The only thing I'm certain of is what i don't want!

yeh i think larger women can definitely be sexy. but if a woman's weight (or a man's for that matter) gets to the point where it starts to interfere with her health then that's not sexy. i think most people are attracted to healthy-looking people.
