I'm sure a lot of men wants to be in the driver seat and control things but I don't mind.
Women that play hard to get should not be surprised when they're not gotten. Some men are lazy, other have too much respect to be pushy. We don't want to come off as stalkers.
Let's meet halfway people

| Do guys mind if a girl makes the first move 2 chat or meet, iv mailed guys first b4, but never actually acked them 2 meet, im afraid in case they think that its a sure bet for sex, wat do u guys think honestly on this xx |
I dont mind at all the girl making the first move, its nice to know that someone is interested in you! Saves the effort of thinking of a witty email and the wondering if your epic piece of your mind will encourage a reply! (hint hint all ladies on Flirtbox.com!
I think some guys have a difficulty in distinguising a girl being interested i.e talking to someone in a friendly manner and thinking they are basically got themselves a lay for the night.
In fact a few years ago a girl contacted me on match.com and we became the best of friends, well until she got engaged and she stopped talking to me on messenger! Im not bitter!!!

Completely agree but it's a lot easier to do it on a site than face to face for most women, me being one of them

See thats what i dont get about girls! They come over all super confident out and about, like they could take on the world, but when it actually comes to it, your as nervous as us when it comes to approaching someone you like! And making the first move! I think maybe in my life i have missed out on so many chances to go out with someone by just not speaking up! Last year i found out a girl had liked me for a while, and after 2 years of seeing each other in this theatre company i was involved with i finally asked her if she was attached and she said no, that was all it took. And she said to me, "why didnt you ever say or do anything"! And im thinking, why didnt you! Its madness, why cant we all be a bit more open and forward, there would be less of this messing about and uncertainty! We didnt work out anyway cause she had no time for me and was scared and too busy to have anything meaningful, another one slipped the net! Although i did like her a lot!

Hi everyone...
I would love it if ladies made the first move online, in person it would come as a bit of a shock and but I think it would be a good thing. I guess for both sides making a move (in person) is a confidence thing.

Well! I think that is the single most thing that prevents blokes from speaking up, the fear of rejection! So u r not alone! I have spent so long worrying over the fact that a girl might say that she doesnt like me, that im scared to even go out! Lets face it, noone if you ask them if they would like a drink is gonna say to you, no, sorry you are just not my type, or, you are ugly and fat! Unless they have no feelings at all!
I just wish girls would be more honest and open, i dont mean they should say, no your ugly, but just, no im not interested, or sorry i have a boyfriend etc...just say something!
