Bloody hell, i feel for ya, i really do. I don't know what i would do if i was in that situation. My ex is a very selfish person using my son as a weapon against me and trying to take everything away from me. I at the end of the day am looking out for my sons best interests. I have quite a case against her from all her slip ups and childish selfish behaviour so i am hopeful, if not confident that i will get residence of him and bring him up to be a decent young man. If she and her family brings him up, he will be an alcoholic, junkie and prison probably by the time he turns 16 at the latest as thats the background she is from. If only i had known what i do now back then hey. Still we all make mistakes. It's how we learn from them which is whats important

I belive that it is a matter of darwinian, survival. gentlemen get eaten alive by the world at large. Therefore, entering into a sexual relationship with a gentleman would unadvantaguios to the woman in that he would not be a very good provider (in a basic sense) seeing the fact that the world is going to squish him. this is not to mention the underlying genetic ramifications of the makeup of the off spring.... lol, yes nice guys are out there, they just dont fight , con and manipulate to get your attention Smile take care...

I know that the Darwinian comments are slightly tounge in cheak...

But oftern in groups of social animals not the stronget but the most popular dominates though teamwork.... In fact some people suggest that social skills should be included in the IQ test...

LET US NOT FORGET men and women are BOTH about as rubbish as each other in this area of discussion....

And also let us not forget we tend to get back what we give out...

IE "you can't decieve an honest person" is a pretty accurate statement in me experience...

There could be a law of nature that states: balance is inversly proportional to looks...

I think we can all slag off the ex's male or female, I have 2 sons and I bring them up alone, entirely, I dont have any financial support and certainly no moral or practical help. Before you all start screaming I must have stopped access you couldnt be further from the truth. I ended up in court on my own as he didnt even bother to turn up. I actually tried to encourage access but it was wasted. So, if I appear a little wary or apprehensive then its only because of bad experience, yes, my ex husband used to beat the crap out of me. We can all put the past behind us and move on but some things you never forget.

*gets off soap box*

Yep, there are always 2 sides. My kids have been told the truth and it is and was always their choice on how to deal with it, my eldest on turning 18 went and legally changed his name to mine, it was his choice but it sure said a huge amount. I even tracked down his dad and gave my son his address, he binned it. Kids will always make up their own minds with or without influence.

Unless you can see into the future you don't know weather what happened to you was good or bad....

I spent most of my life galavanting round the world earning big wages... And I just ended up with big debts, and no special person and no family of my own...

But who knows what tomorrow will bring, and how my past will be apart of it?

Ommmmmmm Smile
