Same here (well the sick bit). Don't think you need to be more of a prick. Just don't take no crap from them and don't get all loved up.
If you like a guy, go on a date with him and ended up sleeping with him but it never actually goes any further or you don't end up seeing him again then obviously it isn't meant to be. you've filled ya boots with someone you liked so no loss. If the guy likes you then he would want to see you again.
Simple. Life is soooo simple!!!!
I would find it hard to believe that you wouldn't be able to tell if a guy is genuine from a date, but then again I would say I'm a good judge of character so.....

Gentlemen do exist but are always overlooked for being too normal or to boring. It seems to me that women (complete generalisation) want to be treated like crap at least some of the time and thats where the problem lies ... Gentlemen can't do that.

That comment is invaild as by all honesty you haven't gone out with everyone here. However there are a lot of people who are after one thing. Anyway, I try to be be, some times naughty, but generally polite.
As for gentlemen being boring, I'd disagree. I'd say (and have done) I'm a gentleman, by todays standards, but I wouldn't say I was boring, far from it. I think anyone who has spent time with me, whether they like me or not, will agree, as I'm rather unpridictable in my actions, my out look changes upon experience, ie I'd never try to contine with a hypercrytical thought. I like adventurouse things, like off-roading and travelling etc. And for example have planned for the future (after F.E. College) a road trip across Europe. in a modified land rover. Now THAT will be an experience for all involved. I've been flying, shooting, ryding, canoeing, crusing, climbing, played golf, etc.
*looks at post, realising it's a bit long now*
so all in all, not everyone is the same, but you ladies, have to change youre outlook too, no man can be expected to live up to the gentlemen of the past like in b&w films. times have changed. all you can ask is for someone who'd treat you right.
OK thats my rant over. I promise.
