I would like to know if any gentleman exist today, or is it a phase that has died out, It seems today guys are after just one thing? Has anyone had any success incounters with a dating site or is it all pure cheese Id love to know!

I met one a while ago.... and found out that gentlemen simply bore me. I don't mind getting spoiled a bit, but being treated like a princess is just not for me.

They do exist, I have friends and meet and see them out there. But at the same time I do have a few jerk friends and see and meet them out there as well.

A good question is can females get past the natural animalistic urge to date jerk alpha males and see the genuine gentleman? Well there are genuine alpha male gentlemen out there as well if you are willing to go on an archeological find....kidding:)

Best advice is that you know what the definition of a good gentleman is....so test the guys when you first meet them. Even when the settling phase of relationship comes, u know the going to washroom in front of each other etc, and he is not a gentleman anymore, but were only at start of the relationship, don't say F-it to self and you put alot into the relationship already that your task now is to change him for the better. Dump his ass and search continues...never settle for less.

Hmmm, difficult one, I've met lots of gentlemen, but depends on your definition. As long as honesty is on the agenda, it's then a case of making sure you meet up with those who want the same as you - casual or serious, if you both agree that's fine. It's where the mismatches occur that people start thinking all men are B's or that women are only there for instant gratification....communication, communication, communication...

So easy to say, the practice can be somewhat more dificuly tho

to be honest, im sick of hearing this crap. theres lots of genuine guys out there, but as a previous poster outlined, the good guys always seem to be overlooked as females tend to be drawn to the "alpha males".

I just think that there are many reasons that genuin guys get over-looked on sites like this. One is that as the last chap said, that some, not all women tend to go for the Alpha Male. Another is the "grass is always greener" situation. Most successful relationships tent to happen between people that would never of picked that person but end up totaly in love none the less. Opposites match and all that. One other important issue is yes, there are some idiots out there which make both sexes become synical about who is genuin or not. But in answer, yes, I would like to think Gentlemen still exist. I love old fasioned values, just had to modernise them a little to take society into acount thats all. Just go with it if it feels right, become friends first. If anything is there time will reveal it.[/img]
