Nope. I know this is covering old ground, but men get comparatively fewer messages than women, and to my knowledge at least; NEVER get any of a sexual nature (not straight off the bat anyway).

If the forums were to be believed every female member here has a full set of Victorian values and is liable to faint at the mere mention of a penis. I find this pretty fucking hilarious on a dating site. I know it pays not to give too much away and not play your hand in too early, but in the words of Will Smith;'Damn!'...

I dont understand whats the big deal about 'disgusting' messages to/from men or women?
There;s umpteen thousand total strangers along with me on here hoping to meet someone....law of averages say theres gonna be at least one or two who aren't backwards in coming forwards, have a florid way with words, call a spade a shovel....call it what you will.
So what? If someone writes me summat I dont like, I've got a "delete" button on my screen. Simple.
After all, what one person considers 'disgusting' is going to amuse/enthrall/turn on/intrigue someone else.

I should have added there that the delete button isnt the only way.
I had a chap write me telling me in no uncertain terms what he'd like to do etc. and I wrote back "thank you for writing and I am very flattered but unfortunately I dont feel the same way" and he wrote me back thanking me for replying to him so nicely. We got chatting by pm a few days discussing 'virtual' rejection on dating websites.
Not a lot actually disgusts me in this world, everyone has a right to say what they want and think what they want (as long as they are not abusive to me personally, then I might retaliate) - like I said what one person thinks is disgusting someone else might like it, so on a dating website people are going to take that chance.

if people say in their profile that they want one night stands etc, surely its an invitation for racey messages? why go through all the pleasantries and slowly pushing the barrier forward when a simple "fancy a shag!" i know its basic but its better than hundreds of messages talking about the weather! (or something in between the two extremes! - whatever!!) and if their profile says looking for friends etc, then it would be much better to go with the softly, softly approach! (hint: thats when you start talking about the weather!!) maybe the fancy a shag was a bit basic. would be better saying how you would like to caress warm, firm breasts while kissing her neck and running your fingers slowly and softly down her spine! (hang on, i am turning myself on now!!)
