What's with the self put-down?
You can't be that hideous or you wouldn't be a dad!
If you want to get a date, try going to www.gumtree.com
Your local gumtree will have loads of people near to you who want to go out socially with strangers!
Since I started going there, I've met loads of people.
One more thing you can do is to try and expand your social circle.
Don't just hang out with your regular mates. Maybe start hanging out with not so regular friends, and you will start to meet friends of friends and new people.
Look to make groups of friends before you look to find a partner.
Oh yeah, another way to meet new people.... join an activity club.
Most sports centres do introductions to things like badminton. Circuit training is always good (very athletic women!).
The kinds of activities that will really help you to meet women are things like dance class (eg salsa dancing!), yoga, acting/improv classes.
Plus, all these things are a whole load of fun.
