Having never added a total stranger who PMed me off flirtbox into my msn...From a dating point of view, why do they do it? I mean, sending a total stranger a PM just saying "My msn is blahblah" or "wots yer msn?" I mean, where's the "hello I liked your profile, maybe we could chat online awhile and then meet for real" Isnt that what 'dating' is all about? Just trotting out "whats your msn" is like walking up to someone in a pub and saying "get yer coat, you've pulled".
When someone simply asks for msn I think "He's not really interested in me personally from a dating point of view, he just copy&pasted that in the hope of getting an msn to chitchat when he's bored, brag to his mates how many women he's got online, feels inadequate cuz his msn address book is empty, or simply wants to send me a photo of his dick because he's a weirdo".
Unless someone here can enlighten me otherwise...?

No, you are most certainly not " a random" - you are a rather scrumptious hunnybunny...do you have msn? And a webcam?
(oh sorry i thought this was the flirting thread).

Glad that it isnt only me that feels msn are for friends or someone you have chatted to a while, even on first message sent they ask for your msn, or phone no. My reply is yes but dont give it out until I get to know someone better. Ussualy get a reply saying they understand but would still like to chat via this site, got to be carefull ladies.n :

Aha, but you see the thing to do is get a free hotmail address or something like that, that you're never going to use for actual email, and use that to sign up to the likes of MSN Messenger. I do exactly that with mine, I have a hotmail account that I use just as a Messenger login, so it doesn't matter if people spam the mailbox as I never look in there anyway. Only people I talked to for a while and got to know a bit get my real, personal email.

Oh believe me, my msn one is only used for msn and possibly some "questionable" websites that I may go on

I won't add anybody that asks for my msn in the first message - UNLESS I have spoken to them on the forum or elsewhere.
I have 3 email addresses - two for msn - Ok, I only really use one of them, but use the other one as it mainly has people I talk to on a regular basis. I also planned to change my msn dress to just the second one..but realised..not a smart idea as it's my full name. Don't want a load of strangers knowing that, thanks!

I've got about 20 emails for different reason
One important one that I rarely give out to anyone.
As for MSN, I cant be bothered with it anymore and probably only enjoy chatting to two people [women], and haven't chatted to them in a while. I cant do chit chat on the net anymore, it can be hard work.

I usually accept people that add me on msn..
Since I spend a lot of my time latelly at home, i have a lot of free time, and i like to chat with other persons.
Its also a good way to meet people, since I´ve moved a lot these past 2 years, so I dont really know that much people..
I think that talking on msn is a good way to meet people.. But that is just my opinion.
