I have dated very attractive women whom initially i was drawn to, due to their appearance and personality but on getting to know better have lost all their appeal to me.
On the contary it has worked the opposite way. Initially i have known women whom i was not attracted to but due to their personality, demeanour, sparkliness (the X factor) i have found irresistible.
I am not suggesting appearance is not a factor in who and why one person is preferable over another. There just seems to be an assumption, well i have found, that attractive appearance means attractive person. Just not my experience.
