i find weight training and cycling give me a confidence boost, its like an adrenalin rush, exercise is good for the mind, its being prescribed by doctors to fight depression now too.
also getting my haircut makes me feel good about how i might look.
i think when i help somebody with something, or offer to help that makes me feel good too.

Is that the guy on the bus you posted about? - Great!
Will you be meeting him, or was it just for a chat? (sorry I'm nosey!)

Confidence boost for me is a smile across a room from a cute guy!

Yep, that guy.

He asked me to go out with him on wednesday......One problem with that..England are playing! So he's taking me to a pub to watch the football..

I'm not sure that's good or bad in your opinion (but from your grin I guess its good) ... I love watching football in the pub with the lads! Its one thing I do miss about not being in a relationship! (amongst other things of course!).

Hope you have a great time and sparks fly, oh and hope England win too for smiles all round. Very Happy

Well, seeing how i'm a die hard footie fan..it's good
I watch football with or without the lads!
I can happily go to a pub on my own, and watch a game...i'm normally the one stood at the front swearing at the screen.. Embarassed

Thank you I'm sure I will have a great time.

You're brave! I think I'd need a confidence boost (or at least a few drinks!) before I went on my own.... perhaps I'm missing out! Wink

I have no problems with going places on my own. If I want to go out for a drink, i'll go out on my own. If I want to watch the football, i'll watch it on my own.

There's always at least one idiot that insists that women know nothing about football, and tries to explain the offside rule to me. I end up correcting them or telling them to shut up because i'm trying to watch the game..

LOL, I like your style. Wish I had your confidence though, I just wouldn't dare! Even if I'm out with a friend and they go to the loo I feel like a spare part (as opposed to a spare button!!!).

I'm not always that confident. This time last year I wouldn't have been able to do it because I had no confidence at all. It's amazing the difference a year can make.

If you take no notice of people, they take no notice of you.
