But it turned out that they just wanted me to change my gas supplier..

I think what boosted my confidence was a day i was buying new curtains! (boring stuff) BUT i got talking to the assistant manageress and on an impulse i went to a florist and bought one long stemmed red rose! went back to the shop and apart from being crimson faced i handed her the rose and asked if she would have dinner with me that night! blow me down she accepted and we were an item for 3 months.

The punch line i couldn't do the same now LOL
