What happened?

Hard to know what approach to take towards cheering you up without knowing how you think you messed up.

Bit I'll start with this.

was going really well then my housemates came home! i felt 15 again hiding in the bedroom!the thing is we got on really well and its bin awhile since i have got on with guy like we did !!

He's a bloke. So he's naturally needy and over-enthusiastic.
