I am new here. In case my profile is not viewed before reading my post, I do have a confession to make. I am not from the UK. I am from the states, but plan on visiting England in March. I wanted to meet new people and possibly make new friends. But when I tried using my real locale, it kicked me over to the U.S. site. Imagine that...........you know it's pretty bad when the UK won't even accept you!

Anyways........about Geeks. I have to say........I simply adore them!!!!!

Even though I just got out of a..........shattering experience with one that has left me with a bitter taste in my mouth (I obviously don't swallow), I still have this admiration for geeks in general and find them most attractive. I'm not much for the looks of a person, but what's going on in that space between the ears. That is where I get my stimulation from. Geeks tend to rule in that regard. I can't speak for here in England, but I can tell you, here in the U.S, the whole "macho bravado" gets old.....and personally.......I find it to be a turnoff..........majorly. I like a guy who is secure enough in his own manhood...that he doesn't feel the need to be macho.


oh...and btw.....this post should earn some brownie points for moi, so if you please....would one of you kind geeks tell me how the bloody hell do I get my avatar/pic up on my posts. It's on my profile but not showing on the discussion board.

Hey if a geek, nerd or what ever is interested in me for what i can offer(mind, spirtitual,emotional and physical) I would be willing to learn more. I am not stupid, in fact very smart as everyone should know by all my posts, but wey hey at 50 there is still alot out there to know.

Some of them are down-right scary though.
