I have a friend that has just finished English and history art Cardiff, she loved that she could study welsh history as well as English... odd girl.

Have you asked if they would be willing to help after your sister has graduated? It would give you time to get a job and save some (will be much needed cash) for when you are studying?

My sister only started there in Jan/Feb. She won't be done for at least 3 years..then she's going on to do midwifery(sp?)

Hi, I definately like the 'geeky guy' I like someone who doesnt conform to conventional fashion, who has some indivual qualities, who is smart. (if that is what geeky means). I love computers, want to know more, love computer games and consoles. love the fact that 'geeky' guys seem more shy and more appreciative of hjaving female attention. Maybe what i have said is just all the steriotypes of a geek?! The only thing that REALLY puts me off a man is when he still lives at home past the age of 24. After leaving home at 18 i just cannot relate to that kind of mummies boy thing. I would really like to find someone who has been thrown out the nest and knew what it was like to struggle alone. Hope i didnt offend!

Too scared I'd lose the rest of my life to my dark collector playing style...

Though it's tempting...or maybe Guild Wars

You could always start talking about computer games yourself. You probably grew up with Spectrums and Commodore 64s, and they had plenty of fantastic games, unlike these modern consoles. Er... not that I'm a geek or anything... well okay, perhaps I might be. On my day off, or something like that.

I still don't believe women are interested in geeks, because very few women are geeks themselves. It's not a lifestyle to which they aspire.

Don't worry the current U.K. average for moving out of their parents house is actually 36. not including housing benefit of course.

I think most of us spend MOST of our time on line these days! As most of us just can not afford to go out and socialize. I appear to spend most of my time on line when i am not at work... browsing web sites and chatting. 20+yrs or so ago.... being in the same position would have meant just being stuck infront of the TV. Back in those days you were a couch potatoe!

I like geeks. Always have. Very Happy There are far too little geeks on this site... well, ok, maybe that's only the Irish site.

But that text may have been just a teensy bit too naive there Wink
