it doesn't matter if you are geek or not to have a girl.....for one night, for short time or for your all life
you just need to proud of who you are............and is nothing wrong with being a geek
.........i think is much better than the jock one: beer belly couch potato
19.11.2009, 01:32 quote
Rather have a geek than a lager lout any day, I love a guy to have a brain and a few quirky qualities that I find endearing
23.11.2009, 15:32 quote
Just don't tell her you are a geek untill you have won her over lol. Although people seem to want to talk to me on here even though i play with and paint little plastic spacemen and watch Red Dwarf way too much lol.

tbh fail, if your willing to hide then you shouldnt class yourself as a geek, be proud of who you are and if people dont like that find other people... im a geek and proud, its all over my profile and my walls/shirts... you get the idea

There is no such number as two.
You people call yourselves geeks, I even wrote a program to decode it some years ago. I used to post on a forum with threads that had nothing but binary messages. Other threads in Hex and Octal. Eventually wrote a program to decode all the codes and encode replies.

I just looked at all those 0 s and 1 s and just thought 'binary system' oh yeah I remember the teacher writing them on the board when I was 9 and telling us how important they were gona be in the future!!!!Never seen them since, until today that is....[/b]
26.11.2009, 01:15 quote
I saw a good geeky sig a while back:
"There are 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary and those who don't."
26.11.2009, 06:41 quote
tbf fail for needing to write a program to do it for you... as for that sig its hardly an original expression... the guy getting confused with halloween and christmas is good though
btw it actually ends ! so your program failed

I don't think it failed, plenty of the forum posters asked me for a copy. I just did it for ease but I am well versed in binary, boolean algebra and karnaugh maps.
First ever assembly language program was in Z80 for a Sinclair spectrum using interrupts to scroll a message across the screen while you typed, wrote several anti hacking programs using self modifying code, interrupts and detections for magic button devices. Totally destroyed the program and scrolled a skull and crossbones across the full screen with the Sailor Hornpipe playing, press the magic button and that's all you'd save. Finally designing my own Sinclair Spectrum interface board with twin Z80 processors running parallel processing and programmed to use a cut-down variant of Occam (can't do a lot with 64K). A second board after that using two stereo sound chips for a quad sound system for a Speccy.
Pity the Speccy didn't last long enough for me to market the ideas. By the time I'd designed the boards, the Atari ST had launched and the Speccy was old news
I think that qualifies me as a geek.

I can never really work out what makes a guy come across as a geek, when there's plenty of geeks who are geeks but don't really come across as such.... if you get my drift........AND are women thought of as geeks too or is "she's a bit geeky" the closest reference?
26.11.2009, 16:02 quote
oh i never questioned your geek status or programming ability... merely the ascii fail and the need for a program

Go to Warhammer world (Games Workshop hq) and you will figure it out! Ironically they have installed a condom machine in their toilets, that has to the least used machine in the world lol.
If you have ever witnessed nerd rage over a game involving plastic models, you'll know!
