Mr Flibble rocks
SILENCE least I strike you with my hex vision.

Right, I think I have established my geek credentials there well just to check:
Did cumputer degree - check
work in safety critical software - check
computer games - check
rpgs - check
ccgs - check
rock/metal/goth/punk music - check
mmorpg - damn I'm missing one Wink

I've not really found that being a geek holds me back, but then I have been
likened to a cross between narcissius and adonis...

its about confidence innit Twisted Evil

I have to say I love geeks - geek is the new chic!!

But you have to have a sense of humour about said geekiness - kind of in the vein of Louis Theroux.

It's all about confidence - if you are a geek and are shameless about it and confident - women love that.

But women are women and a nice smile and sexy eyes help as well

True.

It's like most of the kids where I live that don't know how to speak to humans or something.

?!

I didn't go to Uni, and i'm not going to go to Uni.

It pisses me off, my parents are giving my sister money so she can get by in Uni, which means they can't afford to pay for me to go.

My sister is doing adult nursing, but still. Rolling Eyes

Dont be so bitter, its hard work affording everything you know. There enough loans and stuff that mean you dont need your parents help. If you really wanted it you would be able to afford to go.

That is certainly not a good place to be Sad

There are all sorts of options for going to university (one of the best is job where they will give you day release and pay for the degree).

I dropped out in my final year because I could not afford to continue (oh and I might have been a little bone idle when it came to doing my final year projecy Embarassed )

What would you want to do at uni?

History. Not sure which part I would focus on, though.

I have a friend that has just finished English and history art Cardiff, she loved that she could study welsh history as well as English... odd girl.

Have you asked if they would be willing to help after your sister has graduated? It would give you time to get a job and save some (will be much needed cash) for when you are studying?
