Yup he dumped me. In spite of what has been said in this long drawn out conversation, the subject of Guys being too nice! What do you mean by being too nice? Many guys are self proclaiming "nice" guys, that they give, buy, express love etc etc to their partners. underneath the venner they are not nice but controlling, manipulative, stuck in childhood, spoilt brats who want THEIR way to be the only way. This kind of man can and does often develop a pathological tie to relationships and abuse the realtionship. This is not always a physical manipulation of the relationships but abuse in Economics, Male Privelage, using Isolation tactics to seperate the woman gradually from her close friends and family, being exlusive, selfish and above all trying to insert their power into the realtionships ALL inthe guise of "But I have never been anything but nice to you"
Nice? No. But Bad? Not that either. Have an equal realtionship and not one in which when things go wrong you blame the woman for rejecting Nice. Nice is spooky and has an ambivelance about it

i had a nice guy once. he was nice for about a year. then he kneeled on my 8 month pregnant stomach and tried to strangle me because i would not mind his sister's kids (brats who i never met before that day) i (sooo stupid) stayed with him for 6 and a half years. it was an erm.... colorful relationship.

yeah he was real nice. and i did everything for him. i gave up my mates and stopped going out. i lost touch with everything that made me, me.

a year and a half down the line i am me again. and i have never been so glad to see myself as i am now. i missed me. lol.
