i have a few male friends who are 'nice' and i love them all dearly because ...

1: i can actually have a conversation with them
2: the conversation is actually directed at my face and no where else.
3: they are there for me when ever i need them
4: they are respectful
5: they take me for me and don't expect me to be anybody else infact they'd probably tell me off if i did
6: they are the only men who have manners (well ok yes at work there are a few who are polite, but come on it's work you have to be)
7: they make me feel comfortable being me

i think that i must be old fashioned too, i got brought up by my grandmother and she instilled in me how a man should behave towards women and i can tell you a few of the male species have been given the evil eye if they haven't opened a door for me i can tell you!
or and this is my pet hate not given you their seat (is that too old fashioned? i went up to a group of blokes at a night club a few weeks ago and asked them which gentleman would kindly give me their chair i got two responces first opne was' you can sit on me luv if you want' which i declined politely with a ' erm no s'ok thanks' and the second was ' here you are' a NICE man smiled and handed me his.

i would date a nice man any time

manners don't cost a penny but often mean quite alot to the recipient.

sorry i know i'm waffling but i hate it when i see perfectly good men going to waste just because of some daft idea that 3/4 of the female population have got into their heads that a normal bloke doesn't deserve a second look... *and breathe*

right i'm done!
Very Happy

Thanks tygerbryte, you saved me the bother of typing something similar! I agree completely. Smile

What you doing next saturday night?! ha ha

Sorry, couldn't resist that. Even though voting is going against us nice blokes, i somehow get the impression that *when* we finally meet someone like yourselves, it's highly likely to last a lot longer than your average marry today/divorce next week relationship. Personally, i view every relationship i enter as potentially being "the one" which is why i'm pretty fussy and wait until i'm happy before making a move. Needless to say i've had 4 relationships, shortest being 14 months.

And while we're talking old fashioned morals, don't ya just hate seeing profiles with almost porn pics? I often see pics of birds wearing the smallest thong they could find, snapped with their ankles behind their ears. Ok, it IS quite sexy but (in my opinion) something that should be less public. After all, you wouldn't find pics of me wearing a thong. I usually take it off cos it cuts me knackers... lol

I agree mate. A pic of a genuine smile or a moody look (you KNOW who who are Wink ) is much more appealing than an underwear shot.

Nice post tygerbrite!! your observation is quite true but then on every site you get the idiots, insensitive morons, the abusive berks and of course the perverts. This makes it difficult for the decent chap to approach girls cos they tend to think we are all stereotypes??? It also means that any messages that we send look boring in comparisson! i ussually send a polite message which usually ellicits a nil response!!!!!!!!!!!! i'm most certainly not going to stoop to being crass or just ignorant but i live in hope????????????????
