I would NEVER stop seeing my friends just because of a new relationship. If my bloke expected me to do that, he'd be out of the door.

The only time I have stopped talking to friends in a relationship is because my ex had been stirring, telling them that I didn't want to see or speak to them, and telling me that they didn't want to see or speak to me.

i've actually been in the situation where i ended up not talking to friends or going out for a beer when they call and i can HONESTLY say, i didn't even realise i'd done it - until i became single again. I realised just how much proper friends mean and it'll never happen again. If the missus doesn't like my mates, then the missus doesn't stay long unfortunately - too many bad experiences have shown me that 'partners' aren't always as reliable as good friends are.
