I generally say the weird shit. Then the boring person gets a little scared and goes away.

Han, if you still have problems with your leg...this might sound daft but dont be put off....get in touch with organisations that do leisure activities for disabled people, like carriage driving, RDA, even archery can be just as fun sitting down!
What I used to do was volunteer as a helper, that way I got to do stuff and didnt feel like a 'disabled activities user' if you know what I mean.
A gammy leg shouldnt preclude you from doing stuff you enjoy, hook out my old thread in the dating section about things to do on a date...
My problem at the mo is that its my left wrist and I am left handed, and chipped a bit off the pointy end of my elbow and it hurts like hell still.

Swimming is very good for bad legs and I always try to start with exercise when I begin to feel bored.

In fact I find window shopping, searching high and low for something interesting without buying anything, is a good cure for boredom. By the time I finish I generally have worked out what would interest me and so I set about doing it.

I guess I'm lucky in that a lot of intellectual things interest me and a puzzle book can be sheer joy when I'm in the right mood. Why even some paper and pencils can means time "invested" drawing.

Also housework is a classic "order out of chaos" situation, although I'd probably draw the line at doing other people's in the nude ...

I don't get bored, too much going on in my life for that.
I have pool, plenty of good friends, Becky and if I am stuck I can come on here and annoy you lot.

I am bored most of the time myself in the evenings even when on the computer.

Well i suppose there are things to do like listening to music which can get you out of boredom on the computer or watching videos on youtube is not bad

Put your coat on and go for a walk.
Or find an interesting book to read.
Or start going to evening classes.
Visit an elderly neighbor who is housebound, alone in this world and very very lonely.

To be bored once in a while is understandable and okay, but if you admit to being bored so often there is no real excuse, get off your lazy arse and do summat about it!!
