Well Greystone I know we all don't see what other people see when we look in the mirror, but my personal opinion there is that I think you are an exceptionally goodlooking fella!!! Even if you don't believe me, I bet I'm not the only woman on this planet to notice how handsome you are!!!

OOOOhhhh ManFromMayo did you get to meet him? I wish I had, I've been madly in love with him since I was at school (nearly 42 now!!), before he was well-known here in England cuz my sister lived over near skibbereen. He had such a shite life really and pulled himself up by his bootstraps and I really admire him for that.

Well, the TT is popular with Irish people - must be the Joey Dunlop influence! |
Must be yer mahn, (sorry a very bad impersonation there!!) lol

Well i come from an Irish Catholic family so yeah I do get the 'jokes' in his ahem political warblings....my all-time fave is Bright Blue Rose though.
I heard his brother Luca Bloom on radio 2 a few days ago and my goodness didn't I think it was Christy himself singing a bit o' country and western?!!

I only know vaguely that Nell McCafferty was an outspoken lesbian - 'ahead of her time' at the time, as it were.

Aha! No wonder Christy gave up the booze after that particular nightmare now!!!

"I knew he had no scruples
when I looked into his pupils
They were purple or magenta
Like a statue during lent".
Hello? Earth to Planet Christy - its a daddy longlegs!!
Do you think this was the defining moment when he decided to lay off the hooch?
To get back on topic, there was a time when I used to dream of a casual encounter on the street with the man himself.

The Pick Up Scene is a church?????
Somebody shoot me now PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It has not escaped my notice Greystone that twice I myself have mentioned how I think you are very good looking indeed, and others here have also told you this. Yet you continue to ignore that others are telling you they think you are not bad looking and you continue to bang on about how you are not good looking. Why is that I wonder? YOU have decided that you don't get lucky because you are not good looking, despite others reassuring you that this is not true - which tells me just how low your confidence is, or you have a persecution complex, or being obstinate about yourself and your so-called "lack of merits" is part of the whole "game".
Whatever, I am at a total loss here, and shall give up herewith!!

If you knew anything about GAME then you would know that pick up artists call confidence inner game while techniques and tactics are called outer game. There is also a wide range of different pick up styles ranging from canned routines to natural style pick up and indirect style to direct styles of pick up techniques. The pick up scene is a very broad church with few two pick up artists agreeing exactly with each other on technique. Pick up forums are often full of heated debate about tactics. |
That post is so funny

I think it is a 'church' (and i use that term very loosely) of sorts as Grey has quite clearly been brainwashed by these people, similar to the Moonies or that crew in Waco.
31.10.2007, 23:12 quote
Looks don't matter, they sure help, but when I was younger and full of confidence I had no problems with going up to a complete stranger and just giving it a go. I never had any problems back then with confidence though.
Only lately am I getting back to my former self after having a bad year or two (10 actually), with no confidence you have no chance, I had troubles talking to friends let alone strangers.
It's all about how you feel about yourself inside and how confident you are about yourself, not to mention that you would be surprised at how far a wicked smile and a twinkling eye will take you, and that is before you even say 'Hi''

He's probably brainwashed himself, as I said before he has a few issues. He's idolising these people for a concept that probably doesn't work for him.

Is that a joke? I'm not sure if you are being serious or if you are just fishing for compliments!
I'm a bloke so what women like as far as looks go is beyond me, but I wouldn't say you are ugly.
The image you project IS what matters and the kind of person you are, if peole say shit like that to you, then you want to change friends mate.
I'm no George Clooney myself if you have'nt noticed, but I don't get or wouldn't take people saying that to me.
I have said this before somewhere else I'm sure, but ugly is a nasty word, but it is often short lived, when you get to know someone, even after 5 minutes, the way you look at them changes also.
Everyone finds good looks an attraction, it is only natural, but it is not the ONLY thing that is attractive.........
01.11.2007, 17:19 quote
I promised myself I wouldn't get drawn into this anymore, and not sure if you are serious or having a laugh greystone, but here's my very last input on you dilemma with women.
Firstly, I AM A WOMAN AND I SAY YOU ARE VERY GOOD LOOKING!!!! Or does my opinion not count?
Secondly. ANYBODY WHO CALLS YOU UGLY IS WRONG AND ITS THEM WHATS THE UGLY ONES ON THE INSIDE FOR TELLING YOU SUCH NASTY LIES!!!
I'm outta here.........
01.11.2007, 19:09 quote
Blimey, he gets more compliments then me, don't think I've ever had any...I am in fact the ugly one on the site
