as a new member, i've been perusing the forum for a for a couple of days now, i was wondering, out of the regular forum users {you know who you are}, is there anybody who is actually looking for a relationship of the romantic variety? or are you all more into smalltalk etc? just wondered? haven't seen a single instance yet of two people hooking up for say, a good night out/in, or did i blink and miss it? or am i on the wrong site, as i'm fairly new to all this i suppose that's a possibility. is this a "low fat" dating site sort of? where you don't really do dating etc? in the same way that diet coke pretends to be coke, looks like coke, but we all know isn't really.

well thankyou for replying, but i don't really go for the whole meet up thing myself, i'm sure they are great, but me, i prefer the one on one scenario, i'm a little bit old school i suppose.

I have met people off the forums (one on one) for romantic and non-romantic meets. I just tend not to advertise that fact (until now) I also know of 4 regular forum members who have met and now see each other (they also like to keep it quiet) so it does happen.

On a different note... Im fairly sure you hit it off with someone here before, but I could be mistaken Wink wb anyway

No worries, your not the only one who gets stumped by these internet abbreviations.
Besides the basic 'lol's, 'brb's and 'lmao's of the world, I only know the WB one because someone used to use it all the time when I came on my MSN. Laughing

I tend to keep my ear to the ground and I know of loads of forum members that have met and some are still meeting. But of course I'm sworn to secrecy. It does work fairly well, but of course you have to click with someone, and that normally involves a lot of chit chat and optimism..

You'll soon find the ones who are looking to 'hook up' (just look at their profiles for starters! And those who are happily ensconced in lurve and lust Laughing

Or perhaps he ran off when Twistedviolet rumbled his faux naivety and inconsistent statements.
