Just for fun (why does that automatically sound suspicious). What would there be on a first date that would make you say Wow. (Why does wow now sound so dated?)

Ray

for me a wow date would b if he made me laugh and was all gentleman-y, then called when he said he would and said he missed me, or something equally nice.

I've lost the chance of a 2nd date before by refusing to let a guy pay my share of an evening out! Nice to 'meet' a guy who appreciates a woman wanting to do her bit Very Happy

Now to inject a wee bit of cynisism in to this thread!
For me a
WOW
date would actually be getting a date in the first place!
P'haps i should try the Morillo method of pulling a chick!

I had a 'wow' date once. She turned up and I went 'wow your damn ugly, you might have told me you used a false pic on your profile'.

By the time she'd finished slapping him, I would have thought an ambulance would have been his mode of escape!

LOL
The problem would be Morillo would only enjoy a slapping! Especially if it was with a copy of a Kylie calender!

I hate that moment when the bill arrives and you have to have to decide whether to pay or open discussions about paying.

Just another of those first date never wracking moments I guess, either option could be wrong...

I always make it clear before we meet that I'll be paying my share. if the guy wants to argue it that's up to him (and of course gives him more Brownie points Wink unless he insists so much that i cave in just to shut him up! Evil or Very Mad )

its always nice when a guy insists on paying, but when he does i make sure i pay 4 something else that evening. or if its going well i'll pay 4 next date.

i hate the big debate over bills!! I tend to work on the rule if i invite someone out for drinks a meal or what ever (no smutty jokes please!) the treat is on me! if at a pinch i meet opposition i will usually suggest that they buy a drink later on! that is on the assumption that i am driving so it would be a soft drink! But the norm would be that as i extended the invite and i am still a gentleman then i would have no problem with expecting to pay the bill!
