Ok, me & my cuz have this discussion often, but have no idea wtf is the answer.

Why do a large percentage of ladies say they are attracted to nice guys who treat them with respect, are honest, dependable, when in reality they love them a badboy!

In my extensive research I have played both roles (purely for research purposes of course), and i have found the above to be true in the main.
BUT i also found it to be more of an age thing. Over 30's tend to have been there done that, & most got it out of there system. 20's the old 'treat em mean, keep em keen' mantra still holds sway.

What are our Flirtbox ladies opinions on this?

Just for the record, my role playin dayz are well & truly over, as fun as it was. But even now i still meet girls that expect me to be a certain type because of how i look & the hiphop culture I'm a part of. Sometimes it's it's quite funny, other times I'm like "where da wifey's at?!"

Well...I was with a 'bad boy' for a year and a half. He beat me up and hospitalised me several times. Tried to stab me etc etc. I then went with a 'nice boy' who never hit me or abused me in any sense, but was extremely boring.

I personally think that the phrase 'treat them mean and keep them keen', is very true. I spent 18 months trying to make the bad assed guy want me the way I wanted him. And I spent 3 years runnin from the nice lad. Bad boys offer excitement and new experiences etc but nice boys offer stability and comfort.

I think if u give a woman what she wants, she will run away from it, but if you give a woman what shes not sure of, she will embrace it and try to make it work.

I'm talking purely through experience, so ladies don't think I am generalising.

I've lost the plot now. . .

Well im not a lady but i will answer your question.

Women like to have someone who they can chase now and again, if your too into a girl and too nice then it wont keep them from getting bored. Bad Boy is too extreme, they have to have some nice acts in them.

Have a look up on 'Push-Pull' theory. Thats something along the same lines that may help you understand a bit what i mean.

CHECK OUT THE FORUM WHAT IS A FEMALE LOOKING FOR OR CHECK OUT MY POSTS, THERE ARE ALOT OF ANSWERS TO THE SAME QUESTION ON THE DATING, SEX AND ADVICE FORUMS.

But then a blend of good and bad is perhaps the best way??????????? i could never hit a female!!! but then again perch them on a pedestal and then comes the boredom? treat em mean, keep em keen! but how bout limits? you can still be a bad boy without being a yob or thug???????

Read all the posts & I gotta agree with Queen. Women want what their not sure of... give them what they say they want & your history.
I'm sure I'm not the only guy who finds that when your attracted to a woman you subconsciously do everything to make them happy. Within time they get bored of you. Get chased by a woman your not interested in on the other hand & ts like trying to get gum of your shoe...

I've found that women who actually like nice guys (as opposed to tossers who just use them for sex, cheat on them or beat them up) fall into one of three categories:

1) Over 30's

2) Have been beaten/treated badly many times already and finally got the message.

3) Ones with kids.


Other than that, girls seem to be only interested in how good-looking a guy is, and don't care about personality or how they're treated. Once they fall into one (or more) of the above, they actually start to find out what guys are like, and not just go off looks.

Why is it so hard to believe that some girls do actually want a nice guy?

I say I want a nice guy, and I truly mean it.

First signs that a guy isn't so nice, he's out of the door.

ahh iv found the answer to by problems from now on I must stop being extra nice and start treating woman like s*it!
