Wow, does the whole "sweeping off the feet" thing still exist? In the UK it seems to be a "get me drunk and take me home for the night" thing.

Of course! I'm still waiting for my knight on his white charger to sweep me up........AND I'll be cold stone sober 'cos I won't wana miss my chance by thinking I was imagining it

Here's several great ways to be swept off one's feet by either love you know. It really does still exist. For example:

1. When someone turns suddenly, when you say "Oi you" to them whilst they're using an industrial strength Dyson vacuum cleaner in the foyer of a local supermarket.

2. By a Ewbank carpet sweeper in the hands of an annoyed parent when you won't pick your feet up onto the couch (and you get chastised for doing that normally too, no matter what age you are).

3. By a snow plough, when you go on a blind date with a psycho in Winter (or a foreign northern country) and tell them that you don't fancy 'going back to their place' within the first 4 minutes nor want to see their collection of photos of dead road-side animals.

4. By the sea - if you get lined up with a genuine Prophet of the next apocalypse of planet Earth (or they may use another name for our planet if they're an alien)!

See... it's easy.

And... it's all still out there, so don't lose heart!

i would love to be swept of my feet but find in this day and age there is no one man enough to!!! lol

See... I said the sweeping brush accessory would be needed...!
