Am having problems opening Word & Excel files. They take ages but eventually open. This happens on my own PC at home. I also copy files sometimes from a work laptop to my own PC, could this be the problem?

Are the versions of Office on both computers the same?
Which version of Windows are you running?
Whilst the documents are loading, have a look in the bottom left corner of the screen and see if the built-in virus (macro) scanner is running, and if it is, if it is stalling?
