Hell yeah =p
I am a self-confessed supergeek when it comes to gaming!!
Although I cannot stand sports games.....it's just like..go outside and play real sport xD

Have to say I've got a soft spot for FF9 and 8 as they were the first two I played! 6 has an amazing story too, and lots of characters which is a change!

Seriously. I could go on for hours about games

Do you like FPS e.g. COD4, CSS, Q4 etc?

I've tried some FPS games before, at the mo liking the look of L4D, zombies are full of win ^_^
But have to say I'm not very good with the WASD controls!
Give me a gun on an arcade machine however and I go crazy =)

Generally though, the game needs to contain something paranormal before I will play it. Not keen on army/military based games!

I had a quick go on L4D and was quite impressed! I need to do some upgrades on my rig though.

I love arcade machines especially the old Virtua cop and House of the dead games!

So you got a rig or more console friendly ?

I don't blame you at all. There are far too many games where you play an American soldier whose job it is to shoot dastardly foreigners.

I've got a ps2 and use my laptop for simple games, the specs are too bad to run games like L4D on any acceptable setting. Laughing

Both my playstations blew their fuses - sad,sad moments in my life I love the old stuff! Crash Bandicoot and Spyro all the way

And I very much agree, there are too many America Vs the world type games; running around blasting people isn't interesting, not unless you have super-powered bazookas or something, and even then, it becomes dire after a while.

I think Phantasy Star is what originally got me into RPG's

I hate playing footy games, the get on my nerves, but my brother loves them...
I dont mind the odd FPS like G.R.A.W that was good fun.

Ok I'm feeling left out now - I haven't bought a game in ages. I used to love Farcry, GTA VC and San Andreas. Absolute favourite was CoD. I don't think my PC could handle any new games - especially now my graphics card is on the blink Sad

Blimey, I've been looking for a site like that for ages.

The minimum/recommended specifications on the side of box for a game are a real menace because those can often be couched in terms that just too cryptic, unless you've been shopping for PC parts recently.

Anyway buying a new game is always a bitter sweet experience for me, because if I don't play it enough I've wasted my money and if I play it too much them I'm wasting my time! Confused

Damn. My PC was state of the art 6 months before I built it. Now a £400 laptop can give it a run for its money

Its good in multi player though. Like Battlefield 2, nothing more satisfying playing a game and sniping some one from long distances, getting into a dogfight, dropping bombs on some ones tank or stabbing some one in the back

Oooh and that reminds me, I also love doing stunts in games and making videos out of them. I created this using the Airmaps mod for BF2:

What's the first game you played?

Mine was table Pac Man in 1982. For those too young to remember, back in the day they had used to put the old arcades in a coffee table kind of thing with a glass top and the arcade under. Perfect for putting your drink on and low enough for little kids to play.
