I picked a random server which was Gijon:



Then I thought I'd try the Maidenhead one:



Bit of a difference, so tried the Maidenhead one again:



Quite a bit of difference in all three.

Todays speed is 'download 11752kbps - upload 712kbps'

All I know is that talktalk promised me a minimum of 2 gb and bt say my line is capable of a maximum of 5.5 gb...so what does this speedtest thang mean?

Just over half speed on a 20mb connection, not bad for Virgin Media I guess. I normally get around 9mb so I'm considering downgrading since I'm not getting the 20mb I'm paying for anyway.
