Can anyone help me or point me in the right direction for getting a custom made sig picture please?? also anone have any ideas how i go about making a vector pic as i have been trying for months with no avial i think i have the wrong programes that and im dumb when it comes to pc's

I don't have the answer you seek Danni, but I feel you are far from dumb on Pc's.

There are many things you can do with a PC and no one knows all the ins and outs.

What program are you using ?...I think you can do both them in something like photoshop.

i use photoshop creative suite 2 but i understand paintshop pro is the app of choice for sigs

I believe a vector pic is just a pic that is made in layers. I have loads of arty programs but I can't draw for toffee LOL

check my gallery for examples of stuff i can do, if you like ill make you something Very Happy

not done much vector work but it's not that hard really, and yeah Photoshop is the app of choice, its awesome

Hell no man, PSP is aweful stuff, worse than Fireworks!!! Adobe Photoshop CS2 is the industry standard and pretty much the final word in graphics.

not quite, vectors represent graphics and pictures by lines and curves rather than by bit maps

how come theres so many msn groups dedicated to psp then dood? i dont use it myself, except the animation shop i use now and then, but loads of msn groups about psp. i could never be bothered to learn it.

I must admit, I use PSP 8 for all of my web based stuff except for photo's then I use Adobe Photoshop.

because PSP doesnt cost £600

Believe me when i say photoshop is way more powerful than psp, WAAAYYYYYY

I suppose it depends what you do with them... I only use photoshop for scanning & cropping photo's etc..

Any graphic work I do in PSP. Bryce is supposed to be a really good program for those with artistic flair, but I can't get on with it...

lol very good point! i been using photoshop cs2 for about 18 months, got a ton of plugins for it now and have learnt quite a bit about it although nothing too complex.
if you need some tutorials Dani this site is quite good for those, tutorials for lots of other software too http://www.tutorialized.com/

Hokeeday, imma take a crack at vectoring something, i've done some research and i'm looking at around 20 hours of work, should be fun LOL

My longest creation was my planet that took 13 hours to make Very Happy
