I would ALWAYS buy one with a DVI connector, even if you don't have this connector it still future proofs your purchase and you can always use the wee adaptor if you have the old D-Sub connector.

I would very much suggest a Samsung display, I use a 24" one myself and can't fault it. I also use a 24" Benq at work which is also rather good.

check out my suggestions above Razz

funny you should say that, Col has 3 projectors in his house (tried to bring one here, but I have no clear wall space, and I ain't taking my pictures down!)

Anyways............... A long weekend of cables.. Mr C has now become cable man!

We (I say we because I was there)finally managed to sort the right cable from the laptop to the monitor..

But from then it was chaos.. The tv didn't like my laptop settings, my laptop didn't like my tv settings.. We got it working.. but.. turn it off, it wants to go back to orginal!

I've given up.. Mr C's a programmer so wants to find the problem, I wont let him Very Happy

So now.. I'm using my home pc's screen (which works fine, only 15in, but I've coped with worse... Wink

The 19in tv is going in the bedroom for late night movies!

Thanks for all your help! Very Happy
