Hi OMGitsHIM69, I am presuming that you are having problems burning to cd? The problem is more than likely not your combo but the blank cds you are using. A lot of cd and combo drives have problems with the cheaper cd-rs, usually bought in bulk packs. Try using a good quality cd-r (Sony, Panasonic, Memorex) and see if it solves the problem.

i really good idea is not to buy dell, i now ppls that work for them they think dell is poo and my m8 have loads of probs with them. Battery life on laptop dells are not very good either my bat life is 4 hours Wink

i have a ACER which are suppose to burn out but i've had mine 3 years and has only had to go for repair 3 times but i use it everday

most CD-R CD-RW are ok with no probs with most of them but i did have a prob with BLUCK-PACK DVD-Rs i brought around a year ago all the rest of my cheap DVD-Rs are fine.

nero - ultra edition will take care of these problems, just dont use the windows cd burning software, that inbuilt to xp

also avoid the brand lite on, that is infamous for its anti pirating chip on there drives, while its not as bad as it was 6 years ago, there defintly still twitchy
