Ok i think i may have asked this before, but can ANYONE help me with a website I so desperatly need for my writing career. I have in reality no money to pay for this service (as most people on here know, i have been injured for the last 6 months without any form of income).
The effect I am looking for is Silver brushed backround, with some nice gold and black buttons with a good rollover effect...for the sort of stuff I'm looking at button wise take a look at stephen kings official website. www.stephenking.com

It would be really handy if someone can help me, i have tried dreamweaver, and I just can not get my head around it. The site has to be clean and crisp, not much needed in fancy work. The only fancy stuff i like is in the buttons. It needs no sound effects, however there should in theory be quite a few pages, with many links.

the basic structure should be like this..

Home Page
Novels Screenplays Shorties Fan Fiction Articles Links

with a few more sub-links included.
I have tried and tried to built one myself, but just can not despite really trying hard.
help me obi-wan kenobi you're my only hope.

The buttons are created using a combination of javascript and flash from what I can tell, perhaps an easier way would be using http://www.123webmaster.com/Onsite/ToolBox/MouseOver.html you would need two buttons created one normal and one with highlighted background then fill in the forn to geenerate the javacode and paste it into the body of you html page would probably be easier than learning flash.

stephen kings site is 2 elements

a flash navigation box and a floating iframe updating via php commands

it actually appears to be very simple on the surface, but the coding is rather clever Smile

Wouldnt take long to emulate that site, i could do it but i dont make sites anymore due to time restrictions from work and college.
