intuos3 pen tablet it's got an A4 working space. I've only used it as a mouse mat up to now, cos I've got other things that I'm trying to get to grips with first. My son only just built my system for me so it's all exciting. Razz

Drool..... I'd better move this to the Sex forum now, as I'm getting quite excited

/* my Intuos A4 Oversize got, er, lost, and I all I could afford as a replacement was a cheapie Medion A4 one from Aldi. Worked well enough for £30 though Very Happy I gave it to Mrs Darkhorses daughter last week, cos the pen wasn't really accurate enough for the work I do */

How on earth could you have lost it?
Confused so now you've given your replacement away, so are you going to save up for another wacom?

Um ..... Embarassed I left it on the tube in London (along with my favourite fleece).

Probably get another one some day, got other more essential computer things to budget for first.

Seriously though, if anyone can afford the middle to top end Wacom wireless stuff, it's excellent.

This might turn you on DH!

I recently changed from a wireless mouse to wired

It's a 2000dpi Microsoft sidewider mouse with on the fly adjustments of dpi and it has a LCD display on it. It also has an adjustable weight cartridge system and I use it on a black glass mouse mat, known as the ice mat

I think with certain things it's worth going for the best quality you can afford, and I'm sure wacom's gona be worth it...mind you I've got a crap keyboard, I think Ste was trying to save me some money.

Well my shat wireless keyboard gave a groan and died completely on Friday night, and refused to work at all any more. It is now in the bin where it belongs, and I have a new slim, sexy, corded keyboard. Hooray!

It all comes down to usage really. Batteries can be a pain in the butt but really you get what you pay for. Rechargable equipment is definatly a bonus.

Also be aware where the recievers are.
Alot of people miss assume that batteries are dead, or the mouse sucks cause you have to re-connect but in actuallity you got the recieved plugged into the rear of the system below an oak desk with a radio, speakers, mabye 2 monitors, jumbles of power cables... the list goes on. All these devices hinder response or performance period... regardless of how new barreries are

Usb Hubs also loose power constantly (even though dells may be a good buy thier chipsets fail at life.) Grab up a powered hub for 20 bucks at best buy or future shop.... it's great for everything even that dodgy printer that fails to print from time to time.

Again you get what you pay for, you buy a $30 cordless combo and expect the world out of it your going to be dissappointed, not to mention that you constantly have to get batteries for it so it ends up costing a small fortune but if you go and spend $100 or so on a set then you may be a bit better off, and spend way less money in the long run!!

Brand Names..... Microsoft = evil, Logitech is pretty good but a bit pricey. But for that price you get great support and replacement if anything fails.

Cheers All
